2nd Amendment Cowboy

The 2nd Amendment Cowboy is a 22-foot fiberglass cowboy of the Muffler Man family where the Cadillac RV Park meets the I-40 frontage road in Amarillo, TX, less than a mile east of Cadillac Ranch. A marker at his feet, styled like a state historical marker, carries the text of the Second Amendment. Three 1950s-style Cadillacs sit nose-up behind him.

What is 2nd Amendment Cowboy?

A giant cowboy made by Glenn Goode, a Gainesville, Texas, fiberglass maker. It got its name after being shot full of holes, which Goode repaired; the figure arrived in Amarillo in 2004, spent ten years outside a restaurant, and was auctioned off and moved here in 2014. Behind him a pink, a beige and a blue Cadillac stand on wedges, a nod to Cadillac Ranch.

Visiting 2nd Amendment Cowboy: tips
