Chambless is a Mojave Desert ghost town in San Bernardino County, near Amboy, CA. It sits on historic Route 66, south of Interstate 40, with the Bullion Mountains to the west. Amboy and Amboy Crater lie about ten miles to the west, and the railroad town of Cadiz is 3 miles to the south. It is one of the faded roadside stops on this remote part of the drive.

Chambless is a former roadside settlement on the old highway, now listed as a ghost town. It lies east of Ludlow and the Bullion Mountains, in open desert.
