Holman is an extinct town near Springfield, MO, in Webster County, about 15 miles northeast of the city on Missouri Route OO. Federal place-name records still list it as a populated place. It had a post office from 1903 to 1911 and a schoolhouse, now gone, named for the Holman family who settled here. The site is less than a mile off Route 66, a quiet back-road detour.

Holman is the site of a small former community. Its post office lasted only eight years, and its school, which carried the settlers' family name, no longer exists.
