Hanna is a former community near Laquey, MO, in the southwestern part of Pulaski County. It sat beside Roubidoux Creek, on the west side, where Missouri Route NN comes to an end, about 3 miles southeast of Laquey with the Fort Leonard Wood boundary about 1.5 miles to its east. It took its name from Mark Hanna, a U.S. senator from Ohio. The site is about 2.9 miles off Route 66.
What is Hanna?
Hanna was a small rural community with its own post office, which opened in 1901 and ran until 1943. Today the creek and the end of the state road mark where it stood.
