Pete's Route 66 Gas Station Museum
Pete's Route 66 Gas Station Museum is a small museum in a restored 1949 service station in Williams, AZ, right on the old road through downtown. Old gas pumps stand under the canopy with a classic Ford beside them, and the building holds signs, oil cans and other pieces from the years when stations like this one served Route 66 traffic. Williams was the last town on Route 66 to be bypassed by the interstate.
